So the deadline for the Stan Winston School of Character Arts dinosaur contest was this morning! Here is my final entry for the competition. I didn't finish what I had set out to accomplish with this image such as texturing and adding foliage, but overall I'm proud of what I was able to achieve in 5 days. The Stan Winston School of Character Arts is holding a dinosaur art contest until April 16th and I am very excited to participate! I'm going to sculpt and render a dilophosaurus (or "spitter" for you Jurassic Park fans) using ZBrush. I have a folder full of dino reference and I'm ready to go! Here's a little preview of the anatomy block-in I've got so far. I'll post more progress shots as I go.
